*Hundreds of paper mills in the USA use at least a portion of recovered materials to manufacture new paper products.

*In America we use 4 million plastic bottles an hour and most of them are thrown away. Have you ever thought about how many plastic products there are?

*More than 1.5 million tons of construction materials are manufactured every year from paper products

*More than 200 paper mills produce paper products entirely from recycled materials

*More than half of office paper is recovered with recycling

*Recycling aluminum cans drastically decreases the loss of raw materials

*There is no limit to the number of times aluminum can be recycled

*The Aluminum Foundation reports that during a 12 week program, over 105 million beverage cans were recycled, earning over $2.3 million for charities.

With just a few of these facts in mind, it becomes extremely clear that the value of waste does not end at the trash can or the dumpster.  Business waste such as paper, plastic, and metal all have value even after they appear to have served their purpose and they can contribute immensely when it comes to making more money through better business recycling.
